Travel, Art and Beyond is a manifestation of my desire to experience everything every country has to offer – from amazing landscapes to diverse food and culture, and document it along the way. I have photographed nearly 100 countries so far and hope to photograph every single country. I generally go with the ‘flow’ and travel spontaneously without much plans, and that has led to some amazing life experiences.

Who is behind Travel, Art and Beyond?
This website was started by me, Praveen, about 10 years ago as a way to document my travels. I had always dreamt of traveling the world, or being a National Geographic photographer, but I had no clue where to get started. Most of the modern travel writing on the internet was from Western travelers. Plus, no one around me talked travel.
When I eventually started traveling, I realized it is not the easiest thing to do with an Indian passport. Moreover, I would go on to meet a lot of people either traveling full-time or for long-term – but hardly anyone from India. I started this website to not only inspire aspiring travelers but also to share my experience with those who may not know where to get started. Today, I see so many Indian travelers and photographers changing the narrative that it warms my heart 🙂
What are your goals?
Although I do not believe in counting number of places I have been to, or number of miles I have flown – I do have a goal of photographing every country. That is just a personal challenge that has inspired me over the years. My goal is to seek beauty and document it along the way.
What can I find here?
You will find offbeat travel ideas from all the continents, lot of them centered around active travel or photography – from festivals in the remote mountains of Georgia to climbing, diving and sailing adventures.
